I got here the awkward way. I run ArmaTech Industries, a capability company in defence-adjacent and civilian technology, and a company like that cannot put its engineering data into whichever offshore AI service is fashionable this quarter. That constraint is not a preference or a philosophy. It is a condition of doing the work at all.

So I built the alternative for myself: retrieval over my own documents, an agent fleet that drafts but never sends, a knowledge graph that remembers why decisions were made, all self-hosted. It works, and it is now the engine under the studio's projects.

MAX<>IO is where that stack gets turned into products — things that are useful without anyone knowing who made them. The studio does not take client work through its website.

The longer thread is research. I keep a published atlas of 127 papers, tools and methods — tools for thought, knowledge systems, and computational neuroscience, running toward an interest in noninvasive brain-to-text. The atlas says which parts shape the products and which are long-range interest. Publishing the reading is how I'd rather be assessed than by adjectives about myself.
